PUP PLAY

12 – 1pm

Instructor : Benson Stewart

At its most basic, pup play is when a human takes on the role of a puppy. Over the last 10 years puppies have become a staple of fetish communities worldwide. You’ve seen them at events before, usually sniffing around on all fours or chewing on a bone in a dark corner. Maybe you’ve wondered how to interact with a puppy? Or what it takes to be one? Or own one?

Pup Play 101 is for puppies and humans alike! The workshop will include a history of pup play, touching on the roots of the community as well as important safety precautions when playing as a pup. Participants will also get walked through a gear demonstration, examining pup hoods, mitts, collars, etc. The workshop will finish by taking everyone to obedience school with an interactive puppy training session.

PROTOCOLS versus ETIQUETTE

The difference between Protocol and Etiquette.Why protocols matter. Hands on class and demo in the 3 levels of protocol. Basic protocols to enhance the relationship and mindset. Developing your own protocols. Using protocols in practical everyday life to enhance growth.

ELECTROPLAY

The use of electricity in BDSM is popular, and it can be a very fulfilling form of play. There are various devices out there designed for use in play, and others that are used for other purposes originally that can be used. From a mild feeling to a sharp intense feeling, different methods can be used. Devices such as violet wands, TENS units, electrosex units, and even dog shock collars are often employed.

This workshop will cover

CORSETS : TIGHTLACING AND WAIST TRAINING

3:00 – 4:30pm

Instructor : Morgan Thorne

Corsets are the quintessential kinky clothing item. They are worn by people of all orientations and all genders for a variety of reasons. Corsets are meant to enhance the silhouette, trim the waist and give a pleasing shape to the body. Both waist training or tight lacing are a form of temporary body modification.

Understanding the difference between waist training and tight lacing is important to begin one’s corseting journey. We will discuss the differences and similarities, as well as looking at examples of both forms of using corsets.

We will take a peek at corset construction – including the construction of men’s corsets – so that we can better identify appropriate corsets when making a purchase. You will learn how to tell the difference between a ‘fashion’ corset and one designed to reduce the waist. Examples will be provided, with the ability to try some real corsets on (depending on size).

Finally, there will be an in-depth look at tight lacing and waist training, so that you can do both in a safe and comfortable manner. Participants will learn how to properly begin a waist training regimen that is sustainable long term. Subjects such as sizing, sleeping in your corset and day to day difficulties will be discussed. Further resources for waist training will be provided.

Please note that this class is open to people of all gender identities. We will explore corseting for all genders and how to achieve a more dramatic silhouette.

URETHRAL SOUNDING : PENIS AND VULVAS

4:30 – 6:00pm

Instructor : Morgan Thorne

Urethral sounding is one of those things that looks easy and it is, once you know the steps behind it! In this workshop we will go over basic aseptic technique – how to create and maintain a clean working environment, as free from microbes as possible – so that we can penetrate the urethra with minimal risk of infection. We will also learn why this is important, how prone to infection both male and female anatomy is and where the danger points lie.

There will be an in-depth look at the anatomy in question, so that you fully understand, from both the inside and outside, what you are doing. You will be able to visualize, before starting, the path of the sound and the anatomy it is passing through and stimulating.

I will be providing live demonstrations on models with both male and female genitals so that you can see first-hand what sounding looks like, the differences in depth of penetration and technique. I will be using both hegar and rosebud sounds. Finally we will discuss myths and other rumors regarding sounding since there are so many.

SATURDAY, September 3rd

SHORT SURVEY OF HISTORY & PSYCHOLOGY OF BDSM

Featuring a Q & A session with professional Dominatrixes!

In the first half of this workshop, Mistress Isys and Mistress Von Dark will offer an educational presentation on the history and psychology of D/s and S&M. They will base their research on various sources and on their personal experiences as professional workers in the milieu.

In the second half of the workshop, there will be an interactive Q & A session, where you will be able to ask questions to the Mistresses about their presentation, but also general curiosities about their work, lifestyles and development in the BDSM world.

INTRODUCTION TO JAPANESE ROPE BONDAGE

Instructors : Ropes in Motion

Join us for a wonderful journey into the world of ropes. Allow us to guide you slowly through the troubles at the beginning and entrance you with something you can take home with you and enjoy with your partner or use as a starting point for a further travel into the art of shibari.

This workshop is for beginners who have no to little experience and are interested in taking the first steps to either add more options for play to their repertoire or to see if they find deeper interest. You can bring your own rope or borrow some from us for.

VAC BED

3:00 – 4:30pm

Instructor  : Vanessa Fetish & Empress Mystique

Vacbeds come in many forms, even cubes, and are a very popular form of play. When the air is literally vacuumed out, the latex tightens against you for a feeling that is out of this world!

 

This workshop will cover:

– safety when using a vacbed

– how they work

– how to care for your vacbed

– various things that can be done while someone is inside

EAST COAST SWING : SINGLE TAIL 101 – INTERACTIVE CLASS – BYOW (bring your own whip)

4:30 – 6:00pm

Instructor  : Snoflak

The single tail can be used as lightly as a butterfly kiss or with the sting of a snappy rubber band.This class is not about whip cracking. It’s about using the single tail in a sensual manner, from warm-up to high intensity.

Note: Everyone should bring a single tail to class with them.but, (A few will be available to borrow.)

ROPES FOR FUN BEDROOM SEX PLAY

4:30 – 6pm

Instructor  : Isabelle Hanikamu

Bondage for sex isn’t as simple as you might think. It’s easy to make mistakes resulting in a not good or dangerous way to make the sex part. This tuition is intended to help you avoid this frustrating experience.

This workshop will bring you knowledge about what is ropes for sex. Topics to be covered include general considerations, a few useful ties and a variety of interesting positions.

You don’t have to get naked and there won’t be any actual sex involved, we’ll leave that up to you at home. Much of the class will consist of hands-on exercises so you’ll have plenty of time to practice and enjoy what you’ve learned.

If you can, please come with a practice partner.  If you don’t have a partner, come anyway and we’ll make sure you get a chance to practice the basic techniques. Wear comfortable clothing that you can tie over/around.

Bring your own ropes if you have, either some will be provided for use during the workshop. This workshop is open to all regardless of level, gender, orientation, or relationship status.

Ropes in Motion

Ropes In Motion is a group of people who met at rope munches and later on our own events. In March 2015 we decided to work closer together on projects with an artistic approach to Shibari. In April 2016 we started building a dojo in Montreal with the maximum capacity of up to 9 suspension points. We are proud to be Supporter and Home of the Hitchin’ Bitches – Montréal Chapter. 

We offer, open practices every Friday, Monthly rope events, workshops and classes. All of this in a respectful, relaxed and inclusive environment.

VANESSA FETISH

Vanessa Fetish 

Vanessa Fetish has been in the lifestyle for over 25 years, with experience as both submissive and dominant.  She is also a qualified educator, and teaches workshops on BDSM, trans issues, and alternative lifestyles since 2010. Over the years she has been on talk radio, given workshops at universities, and also done peer support and advocacy for the community.

Isabelle’s odyssey with art and beauty of Japanese rope bondage really started at middle age, when she embraced her strong desire to live the kink inside her. Morgan Thorne

Ms Morgan Thorne has been a lifestyle dominant for 20 years and a Professional Dominatrix for 7 years. She is a fetish film performer and producer. Morgan worked in health care for many years (now retired), gaining the knowledge she needs to teach safety in BDSM.

Morgan teaches and lectures across North America, presenting workshops and seminars at conferences including Playground Conference, Feminist Porn Conference, CatalystCon East & West, Sexapalooza, the Alberta Harm Reduction Conference and the Guelph Sexuality Conference.

Morgan pursues new skills and a deeper understanding of D/s, participating in many events. She gives back to the community through volunteering as a Dungeon Monitor. You can find her doing ‘kink outreach’ at numerous trade shows and is a kink educator who teaches across North America. She participates in a 24/7 Dominant/submissive relationship with her primary partner and engages in other kink oriented relationships. Identifying as disabled, panromantic and asexual (or just queer), Morgan is very open to all individuals, of any gender expression and strives to be inclusive of all during her teaching.

BENSON STEWART

Benson Stewart

Pup Dane holds the title of Pup Montréal 2016 and is an active member of Montreal’s fetish community. As an educator, Pup Dane is finishing his M.A. focusing on communications and queer theory. He has lectured on queerness and non-normative sexuality at McGill University and Concordia University. He’s committed to the demystification of kinky sexualities and his tail is wagging at the chance to teach at Fetish Weekend. Please bring milkbones!
